A collection of Valentine's day treats for your sweet, including:  a 10pc Cookie Combo gift box (with our Chocolate Chunk and Flourless Double Chocolate Pecan Cookies), Strawberry & White Chocolate Bark, 9pc Cannelé Heart Box, and our exclusive La Colombe Bakery Roast coffee beans. This set includes: 

  • 9pc Cannelé de Bordeaux Heart Gift Box: These classic French treats from Bordeaux feature a caramelized shell on the outside and a tender flan-like center. Made with a crêpe-like batter with a hint of vanilla and dark Caribbean rum, these make for a satisfying treat. This heart-shaped gift box includes 9pcs.
  • 10pc Cookie Combo Gift Box: 5 of our signature Chocolate Chunk Cookies (made with milk chocolate and dark chocolate chunks) and 5 of our *Gluten-Free* Double Chocolate Pecan Cookies (which taste almost like a gooey chocolate brownie with crisp edges and toasted pecans throughout).
  • Valentine's Day Strawberry & White Chocolate Bark: Fragrant Valrhona Strawberry  Couverture chocolate and Valrhona white chocolate tablets, sprinkled with dried raspberries for a sweet and tart berry finish.
  • La Colombe Bakery Roast Coffee Beans: We teamed up with our friends at La Colombe to bring you this exclusive medium roast coffee blend, whole beans roasted to perfection with notes of cocoa, candied walnuts, and nougat. Perfect with a morning croissant or DKA! Please note: These are whole coffee beans (not ground). 

 

Storage & Ingredients:

For the Cannelé de Bordeaux
Our cannelés are baked fresh daily here at the Bakery and are best enjoyed on the same day you've received them. To enjoy, please follow the directions that accompany the box: 
1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
2. Place cannelé on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Heat for 5-7 minutes. Let cool fully (the crust will become a bit crunchy once cooled). Enjoy!
Can be stored in a cool, dry place and consumed within 48 hours. Do not refrigerate, as the humidity from the fridge will cause the crunchy crust to get soggy.

Ingredients: Whole milk, sugar, flour, unsalted butter, pasteurized egg yolks, eggs, rum, vanilla paste, salt
Allergens: contains gluten, dairy, alcohol

For the Cookies:
Our cookies are baked fresh daily here at the Bakery and are best enjoyed on the same day that you've received them. Store in a cool, dry place. Please enjoy within 48 hours of receipt.

Chocolate Chunk Cookie Ingredients: 
Flour, unsalted butter, sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, dark chocolate (cocoa liquor (cocoa mass), sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier (soy lecithin), natural vanilla extract), milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa liquor (cocoa mass), emulsifier (soy lecithin), natural vanilla extract), salt, baking soda. 
Allergens: contains gluten, dairy, not produced in a nut free facility

Double Chocolate Pecan Cookie Ingredients:
Dark chocolate (cocoa liquor (cocoa mass), sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier (soy lecithin), natural vanilla extract), sugar, eggs, pecans, unsalted butter, corn starch, baking powder, salt. 
Allergens: contains dairy, nuts

For the Valentine's Day Strawberry & White Chocolate Bark:
Store in a cool dry place a way from direct sunlight or heat. Keep covered and enjoy within 2-3 weeks.

Ingredients: Valrhona Strawberry chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, strawberry powder, sunflower lecithin (emulsifier)), Valrhona Ariaga White Chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter,
whole milk powder, dried skimmed milk, lecithin (emulsifier), natural vanilla flavor). Dried Raspberries: cocoa butter, raspberries, sugar, tapioca starch, raspberry juice concentrate.
Allergens: contains dairy 

 

For the Coffee Beans:
Keep your beans in a tightly sealed bag or airtight container away from light and moisture. Grind just enough  for each brew. Do not freeze.

Brewing Instructions:
Start with filtered cold water.
195°F is ideal for darker coffee.
Each brewer has a different grind size.
Use 2 tbsp. of coffee per 6 oz. of water.

Pro-tip: Use a gram scale. 1 gram  of coffee for every 17 grams of water.  Go to lacolombe.com for more brew guides.
