SHIPPING POLICY

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

Dominique Ansel Online (Online Pastry Concepts, LLC) is excited to be bringing you our signature fresh-baked pastries straight to your doorstep for the very first time. We ship throughout the contiguous United States using Fedex as our third party shipping carrier. You can select at check-out what works as the best pricing option for your needs (FedEx Express, FedEx 2-Day, or FedEx Home/Ground service).

  • We are delighted to ship the select pastries on this website to the 48 contiguous U.S. state. Some highly perishable and fragile items may only be available to ship on the East Coast. Currently, we are not yet able to ship to HI, AK, APO or FPO designations, or internationally at this time.  Shipments can only be delivered to a street address and not a P.O. Box or Military Box.
  • Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather or operational delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.
  • Dominique Ansel Online is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses or weather or operational delays.
  • Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect or incomplete addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling from FedEx.
  • Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the recipient business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered.
  • FedEx may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the contents of the package are stored in a refrigerator or freezer promptly after delivery.
  • Weather and unforeseen circumstances may delay your shipment. We strongly recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least 1 business day before your desired usage date to allow for any delays. Dominique Ansel Online is not responsible for delays due to weather conditions or other natural causes beyond our control.
  • Since many of our items are perishable, we suggest you ship your order to an address where someone is available to receive it in a timely manner. 
  • We take great care in packaging all of our pastries safely and securely for shipping. Once the items leave our shop, however, we are not responsible for damages incurred as a result of delivery mishandling (this includes mishandling by the delivery driver, delays or damages caused by inclement weather, stolen packages, and/or package refusal).

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

As our pastries are all fresh-baked and quite perishable, we currently ship within the 48 contiguous U.S. states only and cannot ship them internationally.

HOW SOON WILL I GET MY ITEMS?

We bake all of our pastries to order for shipping to ensure quality and freshness. Please allow 24-48 business hours for us to process your order and bake your pastries fresh for you. Once we receive and process your online order, we will prepare your pastries and package and ship them out according to the FedEx method you selected at check-out. Our shipment/delivery schedule is as follows:

**Please note: We only ship out orders Mondays-Thursdays to ensure safe and timely delivery to you. We do not ship out orders on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, due to some local FedEx locations being closed on weekends**

HOW DO I KNOW MY ORDER WENT THROUGH? AND HOW DO I KNOW WHEN IT WILL SHIP?
We will send you an email confirmation once your online order is placed. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to process your order and bake your pastries fresh for you. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a notification email with the tracking information. Please keep an eye out for your package to be delivered, as the perishable pastries inside are best consumed immediately. 

HOW DO YOU GUARANTEE A SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATE? 

We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date but will do our best to meet your requests. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to process your order and bake your pastries fresh for you. If you order arrives after 6pm ET, it will not be processed until the next day. Please refer to our shipping timeline table above to determine your estimated delivery date.
